Blog Entry #3

Essay #1 inspired me to write about something I know in a first person: the wrong assumptions people do about English Language Learners.  For this reason, it wasn't difficult for me to connect with the ideas the author was expressing in the article, in a way that I felt I had to advocate for the rights of people in need of  improving their communicative abilities in English.  I liked the process of putting together the ideas in order to create a meaningful summary. On the other hand, I didn't like to follow and master the structure and norms of a summary,  together with the MLA style,  which I'm almost hating.  I would do differently the planning for writing my paper, I mean the logistics:  I should follow what I have planed and avoid the tendency to procrastinate that is usual in me. By the way, procrastination is one of my favorite words in  English,  I like the way it sounds, the large number of letters in a single word, and the fact that it made me accept that unmentionable part of my personality.  I used the OWL website, which I find very helpful and easy to understand.
